Road trip prep: First aid kit essentials

Summer is typically road trip season. As you begin to make sure your car is ready for a long journey, remember to pack a first aid kit to keep in your car. It’s always good to be prepared for medical emergencies.

Whether you’re just going for a long drive, going camping or hiking, or out to the beach for a day, if you or your passengers have a self-treatable injury or illness, your car’s first aid kit will come in handy. The first aid kit doesn’t have to be elaborate, but it should contain some essential items. Use our check-list below to stock your first aid kit.

The first thing to do is to find a suitable box to store everything. Once you have all the items in your first aid kit, store the item securely in your car – possibly under the front seats or in the boot.
