Three top roadtrips from Cape Town – as voted for by South Africans


  1. Hermanus – Less than two hours from Cape Town, is Hermanus, one of the greatest treasures of the Whale Coast. Most famous for its whale watching, this town has something for everyone. Enjoy some shopping at the Village Square and the adjacent outdoor market, eat at any of the world-class restaurants or visit little gems like Breakfast Bay, Lovers Cove and Piet se Bos picnic area.
