Yes, you have to fax the invoice for the service to 0860 FAX SAW (329 729) with the proposal number or policy number written or printed on the invoice so we can keep record of your services. It is your responsibility as the owner of the vehicle to service the vehicle at the correct time and kilometre intervals.
It depends on the type of repair completed on the vehicle. Keep all relevant documentation, such as the invoice for the repair. Please refer to the policy definitions section for an explanation of what is an emergency repair.
Regent covers the major mechanical components for a wide variety of vehicles and therefore some components that are unique to certain vehicle makes or models might not be covered.
In this policy booklet, please read the Components Covered section you will see a detailed list of the components covered by this policy. If a component is not listed, then it is not covered.
The Schedule of Benefits section is where you will find a summary of the components that are covered with the limit in Rand value next to the component. Each plan type has different limits.
The amount you selected (where all the vehicle details and policy holder details are completed on), shows the amount that is included in your finance agreement or the amount you paid for the policy in cash, with a credit or debit card or a cheque at the Selling Dealer when the vehicle was purchased. In some instances the policy premium is included with the finance agreement.
The policy number is also known as the proposal number. In some instances the policy number is printed on the finance agreement. If the policy was purchased telephonically, the policy number is printed on a letter and posted with a policy booklet to you. If you are unsure of the policy number or you have not received the policy booklet within 30 days, please contact SA Warranties with your personal and vehicle details.
